Canada's Wonderland - Mountain Restoration, Vaughan, ON

Hardrock was contracted to address a number of repair and restoration issues facing the aging mountain structure in preparation for the new Guardian rollercoaster attraction.  This involved the use of structural shotcrete to repair numerous holes cracks and leaks.  We also sandblasted and spray-painted (using epoxy primer) 3 levels of the interior structural steel.  A number of concrete slabs were installed and we repaired and waterproofed sections of the exterior surface.   Structural shotcrete was used to create a cave and tunnel for the attraction.
